The Novel tab is a read-only reader that presents the scenario as flowing, book-like prose instead of dense structured editors. Scene headings act as chapter breaks, descriptions read as narration, and dialogue as quoted lines. It offers generous serif typography and a table of contents (when there are 2+ chapters), with local-first Markdown download/copy and EPUB export. It reframes existing data into the web-novel medium with no schema or generation changes.
- 1Open the Novel tab on a project that has scenes/dialogue (medium switcher available).
- 2Read the prose-converted text and jump via the table of contents when there are multiple chapters.
- 3Use 'Copy' to put the Markdown on the clipboard.
- 4Use 'Export' to download the Markdown file, or 'EPUB' for an e-book file.
- 5Optionally use the film-adapt preview to compare other-medium output.
Tip
It's read-only, so you don't edit prose here — content is generated from scene descriptions and the dialogue graph. The EPUB uses standard OCF structure and opens in common e-readers. Clipboard copy is silently skipped outside a secure context.
