owntent is a creative tool you control. These rules keep it safe and legal for everyone — they apply to everything you generate, publish, or sell, including through any model or service you connect.
Your responsibility
owntent is a general-audience creative tool and does not permit adult or NSFW content. Generation runs through models and services (third-party AI providers or ones you connect). You own your outputs, and you are solely responsible for what you create and how you use it. When you use a connected third-party model or service, that provider's terms also apply.
Strictly prohibited
You may not use owntent — directly or through any connected model — to create, request, generate, upload, publish, or distribute:
- Adult, NSFW, pornographic, or sexually explicit content, and any sexually suggestive or provocative material. This is prohibited without exception. owntent may not be used to generate adult or sexual content of any kind, and there is no age-gated or "adult mode" that permits it.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes, depicts, or endangers minors — including stylized, drawn, or AI-generated depictions. There are no exceptions. We block searches that signal this content and report unlawful activity where required by law.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent.
- Deceptive deepfakes — synthetic media made to impersonate a real person without consent for fraud, defamation, harassment, or political deception.
- Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, including using models, likenesses, or source material you do not have the right to use.
- Content that promotes illegal activity, incites violence or hatred against a person or group, or is intended to harass, defame, or harm.
- Malware, or attempts to disrupt, abuse, or bypass the security or rate limits of owntent or any connected service.
No adult content
owntent is a general-audience creative platform. Adult, NSFW, pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive generation is not permitted anywhere on the service — there is no "adult mode," age gate, or opt-in that enables it. This prohibition applies to every generation feature and to any model you connect, and violations lead to content removal and account action.
Publishing & selling
When you publish to the viewing platform or offer work for sale, you confirm you have all rights to do so and that the content follows this policy. Content published to the platform is automatically screened by a content-moderation service before distribution. We may remove content, restrict accounts, and respond to valid takedown requests.
Reporting & enforcement
To report content that violates this policy, email support@owntent.com. We may remove content, suspend or terminate access, and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
