Storyboard expands each scene as an accordion, managing every shot as a thumbnail + detail alongside the scene summary, characters, and dialogue. Each shot shows its keyframe or generated clip (hover preview + a versions modal when present), with reorder (up/down + drag), edit, and generate buttons. In edit mode you set cinematography fields — shot size, angle, lens, lighting, camera motion, transitions — via selectors, and can apply an auto cinematography suggestion derived from the scene's emotional arc and beat.

Overview

The Develop tab runs three planning-analysis tools off one shared logline: (1) Market Research (comparables, audience, positioning, trends, risks, recommendation; medium-aware), (2) Director Review (framing, structure, pacing, characters, market-fit plus issues/recommendation and a ship/sharpen/rethink verdict), and (3) Master's Eye (alignment of your project against a chosen master director's signature). Analyses are grounded with live multi-source crawling (/api/owntent/research-search), and results can be applied to the project brief as upsert sections with restorable version snapshots.

How to use
  1. 1Enter a one-line logline in the shared field (auto-filled from the narrative if present).
  2. 2Market Research: pick a medium and click Run to get comparables, positioning, risks, recommendation.
  3. 3Director Review: choose a scope (full/story/market/production) and run to see the verdict and issues with fixes.
  4. 4Master's Eye: pick a master director and run to get a signature alignment % and per-axis suggestions.
  5. 5Click 'Apply to plan' under a result to upsert it into the brief; restore/delete from the Plan versions panel below.
Models used

Analysis LLM: local CLI agents (Codex/Claude Code) preferred, else BYOK (OpenAI/Anthropic/Google) via createWebLlmProvider. Evidence: in-house multi-source crawl API (/api/owntent/research-search).

Tip

Tools work keyless — a local CLI (Codex/Claude Code) is preferred, and with no backend Master's Eye falls back to heuristics. Results are saved per project in localStorage so the last analysis survives tab switches, and clicking a notification brings you back to the finished result. Master's Eye is a comparison/learning analysis and does not impersonate the real director (disclaimer shown).
