Report copyright infringement
If a work published on owntent infringes your rights, file it here. Every report is reviewed by a person; confirmed infringement is taken down and earnings on that work are held from payout.
How reports are handled
- 1At publish time the creator declares whether the work is an adaptation and on what basis, and a new series stays unpublished until a human reviews it.
- 2We make a first assessment within two business days of receipt and reply with your case number.
- 3Confirmed infringement is unpublished, and settlement for that work is held until the dispute is resolved.
- 4Repeat infringement by a creator leads to permanent loss of publishing access on the third confirmed case.
- 5Bad-faith reports are rejected, and repeat offenders are blocked from filing.
